For awhile now I've been following fashion photographers and fashion bloggers on Instagram to get inspiration. I'm still new to the world of photography, so I want to try my hand in different areas. I love fashion, even though you might not know that by what I wear everyday. I've decided that being fashionable doesn't mean you have to be rich, but it does take time and thought. My lovely friend and subject is one of those cool chicks who has her own sense of style that isn't dictated by any current trends. She is a bargainista and she rocks (literally in multiple bands). I was really excited about this shoot because not only have I been wanting to try my hand at fashion photography, but I wanted to try an Urban setting...so Lex and I hit the streets near Downtown San Diego.
